Shipping often, breaking rarely

Framer Export Changelog

Everything we've shipped for Framer Export. New features, fixes, and the occasional undo. Updated monthly, built in public.

April 2026

Better discovery, faster site, SEO audit tool

Route discovery now finds noindex pages

Some Framer sites mark internal pages as noindex, and our old discovery logic skipped them. We now crawl those too, so exports include every real page on the site. The rebuild kit file tree also reflects the final export structure instead of stale placeholders.

Framer SEO Audit tool

A free companion tool that scores any Framer site on 97 SEO checks and tells you exactly what's broken. Covers canonicals, schema markup, meta tags, Core Web Vitals, image alt text, sitemap health, and more. Try it at letaiworkforme.com/framer-seo-audit.

Checkout migrated to hosted Dodo sessions

We moved payments off the embedded overlay to Dodo's hosted Checkout Sessions with a clean redirect back to the app. Fewer browser edge cases, better support for international cards, and the delivery panel now appears reliably after payment so no one loses their export.

Mobile PageSpeed score jumped from 63 to 90+

Self-hosted the fonts, pushed static cache to 7 days, fixed oversized YouTube thumbnails, and shrunk the critical render path. The site now loads fast on a mid-range Android over 4G, which matters because a lot of our buyers land here from a phone.

Framer Exit Pack, a $49 Rebuild Kit tier

For teams planning to migrate off Framer entirely. You get the raw export plus a migration-ready folder with content as Markdown, SEO metadata as JSON, design tokens, font CSS, a site structure map, and a migration manifest your developer can feed directly into Astro, Next.js, or Hugo. One-click hosting, paid exports dashboard, refund policy

Clean exports, no template marketplace leftovers

Framer template marketplace sites used to leak "Buy this template" CTAs and the Framer badge into exports. We now strip those cleanly so downloaded sites look like yours, not like a demo.

Paid exports dashboard with one-click re-export

Every site you've paid to export now shows up in your dashboard. If the Framer site has changed since you last exported, hit re-export and get a fresh ZIP in one click. No re-payment required.

Bigger hosting limit, better rate limits, nicer download flow

The hosted preview limit jumped from 100MB to 300MB so larger Framer sites work out of the box. We bumped the export rate limit to 12 per hour (6 full exports) and show the exact reset time. The download button now shows a loader overlay while the ZIP streams so you know the site is working.

One-click hosting via Cloudflare R2 + Workers

After you export, hit "Deploy" and your site goes live on a Cloudflare subdomain in about 30 seconds. Free hosting up to 300MB. You can wire a custom domain later without re-exporting.

7-day money-back guarantee, published refund policy

If the export doesn't work for your site, you get a full refund within 7 days, no questions. The full policy lives at letaiworkforme.com/refund-policy so you know what you're agreeing to before you pay.

Homepage redesign, clearer pricing, better mobile

Redesigned the homepage with a bento grid of features, animated SVG illustrations, a gradient mesh hero, and a command-center style progress view during export. Mobile layout got a pass too. The goal was to show what you get before you pay, without a 5-minute video.

Fixed offline claim, added local-server instructions

We used to say exports work "offline" which was misleading. Static files still need a local web server to work because of how browsers handle file:// URLs. We fixed the copy and added a one-page guide on how to serve the export locally in 30 seconds.

Sentry error tracking for production reliability

Added Sentry so we catch frontend and server errors within minutes instead of days. Invisible to you, but it means the tool breaks less often and fixes ship faster when it does.

GitHub deploy flow, CMS range request fixes

Push your exported site directly to a GitHub repo and we wire up the deploy. Fixed a longstanding issue where Framer template sites with CMS content failed partway through the export due to how Framer serves range requests.

February 2026

Core export engine and launch

Shipped the product

Framer Export launched. HTTP-based export engine (no headless Chrome, no Puppeteer), full React and Framer Motion runtime preserved, animations and hover effects intact. About 5 to 10 seconds per page versus 85 seconds with the old browser-based approach.

Live preview before you pay

You can preview the exported site inside the app (desktop, tablet, and mobile) before handing over any money. Click through pages, verify animations work, check the fonts. If it doesn't look right, you don't pay.
